Dust Off Your Slow-Cooker!

It's been too long...I found one of my best recipes to make up for it, this is meant to be cooked in a Slow-Cooker.:

Adobo Chicken

3-4 lbs. Whole Chicken

Marinade:
1/2 c. Vinegar
3/4 c. Soy Sauce
8 Garlic Cloves, chopped fine
1 Onion, diced

Put all the ingredients together for the marinade; set aside. Clean out the cavity of the chicken, rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Place the chicken in the slow-cooker, breast down. Pour marinade over the chicken. At this point, if you have a removable slow-cooker bowl, you could put it in the refrigerator and marinate overnight.

Cook on Low for 3 hours, then turn the chicken over and cook for another 2-3 hours. At no other point, other than to turn the chicken the one time, should you remove the lid. If you do, add 20 minutes to your cooking time.
